Don't let your kids see this. They could get a sugar high just from looking at it.
We are still in the Christmas Season here in San Miguel. January 6 is the Three King's Day which is the traditional day for giving gifts and family dinners. Today the markets were filled with toys, clothes and treats. I fell in love with the candy colors.
Fab sweets! My pancreas is waving a white flag! Luv the colours! Great photos.....
ReplyDeleteI love the colors too. Moreso than the candy. Now if it were chocolate and/or toffee, I'd have bought some and eaten it.
DeleteNice shots. I did not notice any candy around town yesterday. But I wasn't looking.
ReplyDeleteSteve, the tiendas were also selling little sacks of cookies and candy all tied up with a ribbon. Just the thing to leave in someones shoe.
DeleteI have eaten FAR too much candy over the holiday. As soon as I get back to Boston, I'm going to feast on lentils and leafy greens.

Where the produce is fantastic, but the candy ubiquitous.
I hear you loud and clear. I ate a pound of toffee at my son's house over the holidays. I love it and they don't, so someone had to eat it! LOL Now I'm back on roasted tomato sandwiches and quinoa salads. It is a welcome relief after the excesses of the holidays.
