Primavera Parade

It is officially Spring so of course, today was the Kindergarten's parade to celebrate Primavera. Bees, flowers, butterflies and animals made their way through the streets of San Miguel de Allende. The Moms do a fantastic job of getting these costumes together and the teachers get the kids ready and then manage to keep up with the whole class during the one hour parade.  The little kids are just adorable.

  1. Oh Billie! These are stunning! So precious. Absolute works of art, all. Yes, the children and your photos.

    Thank you!

    1. Thank you Barbara, but how can a photographer miss with such adorable kids.

  2. As is true of so many things, San Miguel de Allende is far more theatric about these productions than my little fishing village.

  3. Hello Billie (if I may), you don't know me, I don't know you, I just follow Babsblog and I have seen you now and then, noting your loss a while back and then this morning I got the information about this blog, just love it, love your eye on things, the way you pick the unexpected. I am going to follow you too... PS : I am French, living in France, have been to SMA, loved it.

    1. Christine, I would be delighted to have you following my blog and thank you for your kind remarks. The blog is a little of this and a little of that so I'm happy when it strikes a chord with someone. I was in France last year....just Paris. I'd love to go back and be in the countryside for a week or two. Where are you?

  4. Lovely shots, Billie. There's always something going on in SMA, it seems. I'll be back there at end of this month, camera in hand! :)

    2. I'll only be staying for a week. I'll be there from March 29 - April 6. I've got to figure a way to come and stay for several weeks, perhaps a month. Most certainly we can get together!
