White and Beige in San Miguel

I took the camera for a walk today. I had seen a couple of things that interested me but was now headed home. I stopped to talk to Javier who was manning a booth of his great photographs at a sidewalk market. Something across the street caught my eye. So much of San Miguel is color but this was white and beiges. It could have been a little store in New Hampshire or Vermont...well, except for the Spanish on the chalk board. I told Javier I had to go make a picture and I scurried across the street.

  3. Thank you, ladies. I like it too. Seems cool and calm. Kind of like a magazine shot from Simple magazine.

    1. The bread adds warmth to my heart and a nice little color punch for the picture.

  5. I admire your eye, young lady. I have put my shooting sessions on hold. For no good reason. At best, I get snapshots for my essays. I need to spend some more time on my Magritte-inspired pond.

    1. Robin Wong's blog calls shooting sessions, Shutter Therapy. I like that term because there are times that the only way to get me back on track and set the world straight is to take up the camera and shoot. Steve, you have a good eye. I'd like to see more images from you and not necessarily just on your blog.
